AthleteIQ serves athletes as young as age 8. We take children's privacy seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For users under the age of 13:

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- With coaches and authorized staff: Athlete data is shared with coaches and administrators within the athlete's organization as part of the Platform's core functionality.
- With parents/guardians: For athletes under 18, parents or guardians with linked accounts may view their child's progress data.
- Scout Portal: High school and collegiate athletes who opt in may have character profile summaries visible to verified college coaches. Youth athlete data (under 13) is never visible in the Scout Portal.
- Service providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors (hosting, analytics, email delivery) under data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure authentication, and access controls.
